Why is this not a free site?

 1)  I have to pay for hosting and bandwidth costs each month in South African currency R against the US $.  For those that do not know, the currency rate fluctuate  between  R6 to R7 against $1.  So once you start to add up,  you may realize what  it's adding to up per month to host a site of Sim Snobs size.

 2) Living in South Africa means I am paying  PER MINUTE ,  just like an ordinary telephone call,  to be on the air.  Apart from having to spend a considerable time on air updating the site,  I also started a yahoo group to enable fans to have a little free downloads.  Although the hosting of the files are free,  I still need to pay the online time at my telephone provider.  I also provide a free ezboard forum for visitors, and although it means free for you,  it means hosting and online payment for me.

 3)  Being a South African resident,  I am not allowed to make use of PayPal.  This leaves me only one choice:  Credit Card payment on line.  Unfortunately I need to pay a high rate for this facility as it means there is extra bank costing involved for foreign currency.

Without member's fee,  this is not possible.  I am trying to post the best quality  and if you notice a lack of updates towards the end of the month,  it means there was not enough member's support to enable me funding  new updates.  I am forced to work against a budget.

I love creating for the Sims and will continue to do so.
